Expertise France

Expertise France is the French public international cooperation agency. It designs and implements projects which aim to contribute to the balanced development of partner countries, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda and the priorities of France’s external action.

For EF, job creation (programmes) and social protection, although both part of decent work as explained in this toolbox, are separated. For EF, social protection is about things like working conditions for domestic workers, access to social security funds, occupational health and safety and access to health care for workers. The majority of their social protection activities takes place in West-Africa, the Middle East and the Caucasus.
