The practice of mentoring has developed over the past twenty years in order to support individuals seeking employment or creating an entrepreneurial activity. It is an approach that emerged in North America and then spread to Europe and Morocco.
Initially, mentoring was offered on the basis of collaboration between an experienced person and a younger person in fairly selective programs; however, this practice has evolved over time towards a more inclusive approach, allowing it to be adapted to various situations and to the needs of the different target populations.
In this context, a benchmark study on the potential of mentoring as a lever for the socio-economic integration of migrants and refugees looking for employment opportunities or entrepreneurial initiatives in Morocco was carried out by Enabel's initiative , Belgian Development Agency, in partnership with the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills (ANAPEC), within the framework of the project "Amuddu: support for the implementation of the National Strategy for Immigration and Asylum ".
