Employment services aim to mitigate the constraints of matching labour supply and demand primarily through labour market intermediation. In contexts in which jobs are often acquired through informal networks, such services are often non-existent. The facilitation and strengthening of employment services will contribute to increasing the efficiency of the labour market and benefits jobseekers and employers.
